Receta Coconut Milk Pulav
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Basmati Rice
- 3/4 Cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp Butter
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 Medium sized Onions, finely chopped
- 2 Medium sized carrots, chopped
- 1 Medium sized Potato, chopped
- 1/2 Cup Green peas, cooked or frozen
- 2 Cloves
- 1 Cardamom
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1/2" Cinnamon stick
- 1.5 Cups Water
- Roasted cashews
Coriander leaves
Instructions
Heat the butter and oil in a pressure cooker, add the onion, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
Add the green peas and carrot and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
Add the rice, coconut milk, water and salt, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Allow the steam to escape before opening.
Fluff it with fork, garnish it with coriander leaves and cashew nuts.
