Ingredientes

  • Dessicated coconut (shredded, unsweetened) Dry red chillies (1 or possibly two) Sesame seeds Peanuts Salt to taste
  • 1 x -(up to)
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil Optional: mustard seeds, cumin seeds, lentils, a healthy pinch asafoetida, curry leaves

  1. Here are a couple of favorite rice recipes which i use for packed lunches.
  2. They work really well with leftover cooked rice, or possibly rice sticks. When rice sticks are used, break the sticks up into small pcs before boiling.
  3. Drain as much of the water as possible.
  4. I'm aware which some of the spices may be available in Indian food stores only, but i think it is worth the trip :-). You can also experiment with adding a variety of nuts, raisins....
  5. Fry all ingredients in the oil. Add in rice/rice sticks and salt. Stir well.
