Coffee Cake With Streusel Filling

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour once before measuring. Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt and sugar together. Cut in shortening and mix till mix is like fine corn meal. Blend in WELL BEATEN egg, mixed with lowfat milk. Then blend in vanilla, and beat just sufficient to mix well. Pour half the batter into a well greased and lightly floured baking pan (6 x 10 inches or possibly 8 inch square). Sprinkle with half the streusel mix. Add in remaining batter and sprinkle remaining streusel mix over top. Bake 25- 30 min at 375 degrees.
  2. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon together. Then blend in good with brown sugar and 1/2 cup minced nuts, pour 1/4 cup melted butter over all and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min.
