Ingredientes

  • 4 c. freshly-brewed espresso
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pt heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. vanilla-flavored sugar
  • 6 x fluted glasses chilled
  • 1/2 c. brandy or possibly anisette

Direcciones

  1. Sweeten the coffee with the sugar while it is still warm. Place into 2 ice-cube containers and place the containers in the freezer for several hrs or possibly overnight.
  2. Whip the cream to soft peaks. Add in the vanilla flavored sugar and beat a few seconds longer, but don't overbeat.
  3. Crush the iced-coffee cubes in an electric crusher and distribute proportionately among the chilled glasses. Add in 1-Tbsp. liqueur to each glass and top with the whipped cream. Serve immediately.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
