Ingredientes

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter -- softened
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease and flour 9" square baking pan.
  2. Into large bowl measure all ingredients except powdered sugar. With mixer at low speed, beat till blended, constantly scraping bowl.
  3. Increase speed to medium and continue beating for 3 min.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake 1 hour or possibly till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cold completely on wire rack. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
