Commercial Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Unsalted butter*
  • 1 c. Light brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 c. White sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1 x Egg
  • 2 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/8 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 c. Chocolate chips

Direcciones

  1. Parchment paper.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Cream the butter with both sugars till well blended. Stir in the vanilla and egg. Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt, then, lastly, mix in the chocolate chips.
  4. Form into rounds the size of golf balls, place 3 inches apart on the baking sheets and press down slightly.
  5. Bake till just light brown around the edges, about 14 to 16 min. Don't overbake these cookies - they may seem a little underdone but will crisp as they cold. Cold on racks. (
  6. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen).*
  7. NOTE: For alighter, even more commercial-style texture, substitute 1/4 c. golden brown Crisco for 1/4 c. of the butter.
