Ingredientes

  • 1.) 2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 2.) 1 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
  • Add a bit more oil if you need it (I didn't) and then add:
  • 4.) 4 finely chopped onions
  • 5.) 6 cloves
  • 6.) 6 green cardamom pods
  • 7.) one 4 inch piece of cinnamon stick
  • 8.) 10 peppercorns
  • 9.) 4 bay leaves
  • Cook this all together until the onion is lightly browned. Then add in your ground spice powder along with:
  • 10.) 3 tsps of garam masala
  • 11.) 1/4 tsp of turmeric
  • 12.) 1 tsp of paprika
  • Fry the spices for abut 30 seconds then add in:
  • 13.) a 3 inch piece of ginger finely minced
  • 14.) 4 crushed shallots
  • 15.) 3/4 cup of thick plain yogurt
  • 16.) 1 2/3 cups of water
  • 17.) and your lamb
