Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Vegetable shortening
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. Minced walnuts
  • 20 x Popsicle sticks

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F. In a medium-sized bowl, cream together the shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla till completely combined. In another medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda; slowly add in to the shortening mix and stir till well mixed. Add in the chocolate chips and nuts and stir till blended. Lay the popsicle sticks on cookie sheets which have been coated with nonstick cooking spray (7 or possibly 8 per sheet). Spoon 1 Tbsp. of dough onto the end of each popsicle stick, covering the top 2 inches. Bake for 10 to 12 min, or possibly till golden brown. Let cold for 3 to 4 min, then use a spatula to carefully remove the stemmed cookies to a wire rack to cold completely.
