Receta Cookie Dough Bites Healthy
I love raw cookie dough and can eat it like I eat Biscoff spread or Speckuloos. If you have never had Biscoff Spread or Speckuloo’s, be thankful. Be very thankful. I found them to be just as addicting for me as BBQ flavored chips. Either way, I love cookie dough too much. So I made an attempt to create a healthier version of cookie dough.
After a little bit of experimentation here is my version of Cookie Dough Bites.
Cookie Dough Bites Healthy
Author: Marlene Baird
Serves: 16
- ½ cup walnuts
- ½ cup sunflower seeds (unsalted)
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup steel-cut oats
- ⅛ cup honey plus 1 Tablespoon
- ⅛ cup Mini M&M’s
Add nuts and oats to a food processor and pulse until you get a flour-like consistency. You don’t want to make butter, but you don’t want any big chunks either.
Add the salt, honey and vanilla.
Pulse until a ball of dough forms
Remove dough from the food processor and stir in M&M’s by hand.
Pop the dough in the freezer for 5 minutes or so.
Roll the dough into bite-sized balls.
Freeze or refrigerate, if they last that long.

I found that if the palm of my hands were damp, I was able to form them into balls without much difficulty.
I think my impatience got the better of me and I could have processed the nuts a bit more to get a smoother dough.
I can tell you my tummy loved them a bit crispy anyway. I loved the crunch!
If you decide to freeze them, they just need 1 or two minutes to thaw.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
