%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20first%20thing%20we%20made%20was%20a%20chicken%20breast%20stuffed%20with%20a%20mixture%20of%20onion,%20figs,%20and%20spinach.%20Then%20we%20baked%20it%20in%20a%20tomato%20cream%20sauce%20that%20had%20some%20garlic%20and%20ginger%20as%20well.%20It%20was%20delicious!%20I%20tried%20it%20at%20home%20a%20week%20later,%20and%20it%20turned%20out%20really%20well.%20I%20don't%20think%20it%20was%20a%20huge%20hit%20with%20my%20husband%20(and%20I%20didn't%20even%20attempt%20to%20feed%20it%20to%20the%20kids...%20I%20gave%20them%20an%20un-stuffed%20chicken%20breast%20with%20some%20of%20the%20sauce%20on%20it)%20but%20it%20was%20nice%20to%20try%20something%20new.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20week%20we%20made%20soups...%20nothing%20difficult,%20just%20some%20nice%20fall%20flavours%20(carrot%20ginger%20and%20potato%20leek)%20and%20we%20swirled%20them%20in%20the%20bowl%20together%20with%20a%20homemade%20crouton%20in%20the%20middle.%20The%20soups%20were%20delicious%20though,%20and%20I'll%20definitely%20make%20them%20again.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20here's%20one%20more%20recipe%20for%20you.%20It's%20not%20from%20cooking%20class,%20just%20my%20standard%20chili%20recipe,%20but%20I%20used%20chicken%20breasts%20instead%20of%20ground%20beef.%20The%20kids%20hated%20it%20(they%20are%20opposed%20to%20things%20such%20as%20beans,%20mushrooms,%20and%20tomatoes,%20so%20it%20was%20bound%20to%20be%20disgusting%20in%20their%20eyes.%20I%20thought%20it%20was%20awesome,%20though.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThrow%20it%20all%20in%20the%20crockpot%20and%20cook%20on%20low%20for%208%20hours.%20Serve%20with%20tortilla%20chips,%20sour%20cream,%20and%20grated%20cheddar%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETonight%20I'm%20making%20my%20standard%20Super%20Awesome%20Roast%20Beef,%20but%20I%20didn't%20have%20any%20Coke,%20so%20I'm%20using%20white%20wine%20instead.%20I'm%20also%20cooking%20the%20roast%20from%20frozen,%20since%20it%20just%20dawned%20on%20me%20at%2010:30am%20that%20I%20had%20nothing%20planned%20for%20supper%20tonight,%20and%20no%20time%20to%20cook%20anything.%20I%20hope%20it%20turns%20out,%20or%20I%20just%20wasted%20a%20whole%20roast%20and%20a%20whole%20cup%20of%20white%20wine!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
