Ingredientes

  • 2 lb grnd beef or possibly sausage
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1 x (14 1/2 ounce.) can minced tomatoes with liquid
  • 1 x (14 ounce.) () can tomato juice
  • 1 x (14 ounce.) () can chili beans, with liquid
  • 1/4 x to 1/2 c. chili pwdr, depending on taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 x to 3 tsp red pepper, depending on taste
  • 1 can Coors Light (or possibly other beer) salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Brown the meat with the onions. Drain off any fat. Add in the tomato juice, minced tomatoes and chili beans. Add in spices and sugar, going easy on the chili pwdr and red pepper till you've had a chance to taste it. Allow to come to a low boil. Add in the beer, allow to boil, and taste again to re-season if necessary. This, of course, can be made without the beer, but you may need to add in water or possibly additional tomato juice if the soup is too thick. Serve with celery spread with peanut butter.
