  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter
  • 1 cup (1/2 pint) sour cream

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  3. F. Coat an 8-inch-round baking dish with cooking spray.In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a medium bowl, beat together egg, milk, and butter. Add egg mixture and sour cream to flour mixture. Stir just until blended. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish
