Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. Butter, divided
  • 2 x Large eggs, separated
  • 1 dsh Paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Minced nuts, (macadamias)
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 1 c. Canned creamed corn
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt
  • 1 c. Hot lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar

Direcciones

  1. In small saucepan, saute/fry onion in 1 Tbsp. butter till tender and golden brown. In large bowl, beat egg yolks, fold in corn, sauteed onion, paprika and seasoned salt. In small saucepan, heat 2 Tbsp. butter; stir in flour; blend well. Gradually add in hot lowfat milk, stirring till creamy and thick. Combine with corn mix. In small bowl beat egg whites till stiff but not dry. Mix in nuts, sugar and egg whites into corn mix. Pour pudding into well-buttered 1 qt casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 min till mix is set and golden brown.
