Ingredientes

  • 2 c. masa harina
  • 1 1/4 c. water (approximately)
  • 1 dsh salt - optional

  1. Mix masa harina and water together and add in salt. First use a fork, then use hands when you can no longer stir with a fork. You may need additional water for the dough to hold together. Make 12 equal balls which are smooth and round. Roll out each on one side only, on an unfloured surface or possibly between 2 sheets of waxed paper, to 1/8 in. thick. If desired, trim edges of the circle with a knife till you have a thin 6-in. round. Pan fry in a lightly greased griddle or possibly heavy skillet over med heat, 3-4 min on ea side. Wrap in damp towel and keep hot in 200 deg oven till serving.
