Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 can diced chile peppers, (4 ounce.) optional

Direcciones

  1. Stir dry ingredients. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Stir in cheese. Make a well in center of mix. Stir in buttermilk and chile peppers. Add in to dry mix. Turn dough out on lightly floured surface. Quickly knead dough. Pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 min.
