Ingredientes

  • 250 gm butter
  • 1 c. icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp backing pwdr
  • 2 c. crushed cornflakes

Direcciones

  1. Soften the butter. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together.
  2. Sift flour, cornflour and baking pwdr.
  3. Add in to butter mix with cornflakes. Combine well.
  4. Roll tablespoonsful into balls and place on greased baking trays. Flatten tops with a fork.
  5. Bake at 180 C for 15 to 20 min.
  6. Tip: If you do not want to fuss with creaming the butter and sugar in this recipe, heat the butter and fold in the icing sugar instead. The recipe will still work but the biscuits will be a little less short.
