Cornish Hens With Apple Raisin Stuffing

Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine or possibly butter
  • 1/2 c. minced green onions
  • 1 x red baking apple, unpeeled but minced
  • 4 c. unseasoned dry bread cubes
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. allspice
  • 1/4 c. apple juice
  • 4 x Cornish Hens
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 c. apple jelly
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or possibly butter

Direcciones

  1. Heat over to 350. Heat 3 Tbsp butter in skillet over med-high heat Add in onions and apples, cook till tender, stirring frequently. Stir in remaining stuffing ingredients. Sprinkle hens with salt and pepper. Spread stuffing in ungreased baking pan. Place hens skin side up over stuffing. In small saucepan, heat jelly with 2 Tbsp butter and brush over hens. Bake at 350 uncovered for 1-1 1/4 hrs or possibly till juices run clear.
