Ingredientes

  • 1 quart Cornmeal
  • 1 quart Chredded Sharp Cheddar
  • 1/2 quart Peeled and Diced Spanish Onions
  • 1/2 quart Washed De-seeded and Diced Bell Peppers
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp Cavenne Pepper
  • 3/4 quart Boiling Water
  • Hot Sauce

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl, combine cornmeal, cheddar, onion, belll pepper, salt, and cayenne.
  2. Stir in boiling water and mix thoroughly.
  3. Drop six small ice cream scoops of batter into the oil and fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Transfer fritters to paper towels, or perforated pan to drain.
  5. Season with additional spiced if desired.
  6. Serve with hot sauce.
