Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. Bran flakes-unprocessed
  • 1/4 x Non-fat dry lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Toasted wheat germ
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Low sodium salt
  • 1/4 c. Raisins
  • 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margerine, softened
  • 1/2 c. Low fat creamed cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 x Egg, I used eggbeaters
  • 1 tsp Vanilla (I used 1 1/2 cuz we love vanilla)

  1. These are soft, cake-like cookies packed with nutricious ingredients and not high in fat. They also pass the taste test with my kids:-)
  2. In a small bowl combine the flour, bran, dry lowfat milk, wh. germ, baking pwder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and raisins. Set the mix aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter or possibly marg. and the cottage cheese till they are smooth. Add in the sugar and honey, and beat the mix till it is fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla and beat mix again.
  4. 3.Gradually stir the reserved flour mix into the cottage cheese mix till they are just blended. Place round tsps of batter 2 inches apart on Pam sprayed cookie sheets.
  5. Bake cookies in preheated 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 min or possibly till edge of cookies turn golden brown. Remove cookies from the pan to a rack to cold.
  6. Delicious with lowfat milk or possibly tea.
