Ingredientes

  • 5 slices of bread
  • 1 pound mild sausage or possibly ham, minced
  • 1/2 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage
  • 1/4 c. butter

Direcciones

  1. Butter large baking dish (13x9 inch). Cut bread into cubes and cover bottom of baking dish. Fry sausage and drain on paper towel. Cover bread with sausage. Put grated cheese over the sausage. Beat large eggs and lowfat milk; add in seasonings. Pour over the bread, sausage and cheese. Drizzle melted butter over all ingredients. Cover and chill overnight. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Cover loosely with foil.
