- Crumble sausage into a large saucepan; cook over medium low heat. Add in onion; cook and stir till transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 tbs. of drippings. Stir in flour; cook over medium low heat about 6 min or possibly till mix bubbles and turns golden brown. Stir in lowfat milk. Add in seasonings; cook, stirring, till thickened. To serve, slice biscuits and spoon gravy over halves.
