Ingredientes

  • 1 lb lean grnd pork
  • 2 x green onions, including tops thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. minced cilantro (Chinese parsley)
  • 2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dry sherry or possibly Chinese rice wine
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients except the oil in a large bowl. Mix well and shape into eight patties, each about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
  2. Place a wide frying pan over medium heat till warm. Add in the oil, swirling to coat the surface. Add in the sausage patties; cook for 2 min on each side or possibly till lightly browned. Cover and cook for 2 more min, then uncover. Cook till the patties are no longer pink in the center, about 2 more min on each side.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  4. Variation: For a reduced-calorie version, use grnd turkey in place of the pork.
  5. Comments: Spiced with ginger, fresh cilantro, and green onion, these sausage patties make a perfect partner to breakfast Large eggs. If time permits, season the meat and then refrigerateit overnight so the flavors have time to blend.
