Courtni's Baked Spaghetti

A great twist from the old fashioned spaghetti. Baking it this way holds all of the ingredients together in the most delicious way, evenly distributes all ingredients throughout the pasta, and can serve ALL of your guests! This meal is ALWAYS a hit! It is VERY easy, quick, and adored by all who taste it. The best part is that if you are just cooking it for your family (husband and child for example), then you will have left-overs for at least another 1 or 2 meals. :)

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Boil water and cook spaghetti
  3. While cooking spaghetti cook the sauce separately. Add mushrooms and black olives to sauce. I add a dash of garlic salt to my sauce as well.
  4. While cooking both the spaghetti and sauce, also cook separately the ground beef. Add jalapenos, diced onions, and any preferred seasonings.
  5. When all is complete, drain spaghetti and drain meat.
  6. In a pre-greased lg (9x11 is what I use) casserole dish layer the ingredients as follows: Spaghetti, then beef mixture, the sauce, then 1c of shredded cheese.
  7. Layer twice and top with parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, then let cool for 5 and serve.
