Ingredientes

  • 40 lrg shrimp peeled, deveined
  • 1/4 c. green onions in 1/4" dice
  • 1/4 c. yellow onions in 3/8" dice
  • 1/4 c. red bell peppers in 3/8" dice
  • 1/2 c. grated Pepperjack cheese
  • 1 c. your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 c. creamy horseradish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 4 c. cooked rice
  • 4 x flour tortillas
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Direcciones

  1. Tortilla shells: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Butter both sides of flour tortillas. Drape tortillas over an oven proof bowl so which it forms an upside down bowl shape. Bake in oven for 8 to 10 min till golden. Remove from bowl and hold in a dry place.
  2. For shrimp: Combine sauce ingredients and mix well. Add in all remaining ingredients except cheese and mix together. Place in greased casserole dish and sprinkle top with cheese. Bake in oven for 20 min
  3. Assembly: Place tortilla shell on plate or possibly in bowl. Place 1 c. of rice into bowl. Spoon cooked shrimp on rice and serve.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  5. Suggested Wine: Beverage suggestions: Light lager, dark or possibly amber beer
  6. NOTES : Chef's Tip - You are going to love the explosive flavors of this dish. Serve with your favorite warm sauce, and ice cool lager.
