Ingredientes

  • Serve this crab cake recipe with Basil Mayonnaise or possibly your favorite condiment. Basil Mayonnaise (recipe follows)
  • 1 x (8-oz) carton crab meat
  • 1 x egg, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh tarragon
  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter Prepare Basil Mayonnaise and set aside.

Direcciones

  1. In bowl, stir together crab meat, egg, red pepper flakes, green onion, tarragon, mayonnaise, lemon juice and bread crumbs. Shape into 4 patties.
  2. Heat butter in medium skillet. Add in crab cakes in one layer and fry 5 min per side or possibly till golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. Arrange 2 crab cakes on each plate and pass the Basil Mayonnaise separately.
  4. Basil Mayonnaise1/4 c. mayonnaise1 tsp. fresh lemon juice1 shallot, peeled and minced1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil1/4 tsp. black pepperIn bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, shallot, basil and black pepper.
  5. Mix well and transfer to serving bowl.
