Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Imitation crabmeat, shredded
  • 1 1/2 c. Frzn shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Seafood seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Onion pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Vegetable oil

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the oil; mix well then form into 12 patties. In a large skillet, heat the oil just till warm (not smoking) over medium heat. Add in the patties and pan-fry for 3 to 4 min per side, till golden.
  2. NOTE: If you want to get more of the taste and texture of authentic crab cakes without breaking the bank, you can shred a small can of real crabmeat and mix it in, too! And if desired yours the traditional way - with a little "heat" - go ahead and add in a few shakes of warm pepper sauce before forming the patties.
