Cream Cheese Banana Nut Bread

I have never cared for Banana Nut Bread until I tried this recipe.
It is soooo good it's hard to eat just one piece

Ingredientes

  • 3/4 cup butter,softened
  • 1(8 oz.) pkg cream cheese,softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas(about 4 medium)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts(your choice)
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese til creamy. Gradually add sugar,beating til light and fluffy. Add eggs and blend.
  2. Combine rest of ingredients with above mixture just til blended.
  3. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8x4 loaf pans.
  4. Bake at 350* for one hour - cover with foil last 15 minutes to prevent over browning. Bread is done when long wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Note: Sometimes I use really small loaf pans when I'm taking this to a get together so the slices are smaller.
