Cream Cheese Walnut Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Margarine or possibly butter, softened
  • 1 pkt (3 ounce) Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Walnuts, finely minced

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 300 .
  2. In large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat sugar with margarine or possibly butter and cream cheese till blended. Increase speed to high; beat till creamy, about 2 min, occassionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Beat in vanilla. With spoon, stir in flour and walnuts just till blended, with lightly floured hands, roll dough into 1" balls. Place balls, 2" apart on ungreased large baking sheet. With floured finger tips flatten balls into 1 1/4" rounds.
  3. Bake cookies 14 to 18 min till golden brown. Let cookies reamin on baking sheet on wire rack 2 min to cold slughtly. Transfer cookies to wire rack to completely cold.
  4. Yield: 5 dozen
