Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Cake Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
  • 2/3 c. Heavy Cream

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Use an ungreased cookie sheet. Combine the flour, salt, sugar and baking pwdr in a bowl, stirring with a fork. Slowly add in the cream while continuing to stir. Mix well till the dough holds together in a ball. (If the dough is still too crumbly, add in another Tbsp. of cream.) Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to a thickness of about 1/8 in. Using a cookie cutter or possibly a large drinking glass, cut the crackers into 3 in rounds. Place the crackers on the cookie sheet, and prick the center of each cracker twice with the tines of a fork.
  2. Bake on one side for 8 min, turn the crackers over with a metal spatula, and bake for 6 to 8 min more, or possibly till the crackers have several golden brown spots and are slightly colored on the edges. Remove and place on a rack to cold.
  3. NOTES : I have still to get better at baking crackers. You have to be as swift as when you are baking cookies.
  4. Even if they are not picture perfect, they are way better than the store-bought ones.
