Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in 2 qt saucepan. Stir in lowfat milk gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till mix thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir 1/2 of hot mix into egg yolks in saucepan, boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
  2. Heat over low heat till melted. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup powdered sugar and 3/4 tsp vanilla. Stir in 1 tsp hot water at a time till desired consistency (about 2 tbsp of water is needed).
