  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 T flour

  1. Bake yellow or possibly chocolate cake in two 9x9 inch pans. Let cool.
  2. Cook till thick. Cool. In a mixing bowl, add in 1/4 cup vegetable shortening, 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Beat 4 min. Add in cooled lowfat milk and flour mix. Beat 4 more min.Split cakes, remove top layer and spread about 1/4 inch of cream filling on bottom layer; replace top. Can be frzn. My kids always loved these.
