  1. Heat 2 tb of margarine in top of double boiler. Add in flour and mix well. Add in lowfat milk and chicken stock. Beat with wire whip to blend together and keep smooth. Saute/fry onions in 4 tb of margarine, 3 min. Add in to soup mix and cook 15 min. Add in salt, pepper, green onions and cream. Stir to blend and serve.
