Ingredientes

  • 1 or possibly 2 cans of creamed corn
  • 3/4 c. lowfat sour cream
  • wide egg noodles
  • 1 to 2 onions, minced
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt, pepper
  • lemon pepper and/or possibly lemon zest
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • mac and cheese, 1/2 cheese pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Chop onions and saute/fry in a small amount of extra virgin olive oil over high heat. When the onions are brown, add in the creamed corn and 2 spoonfuls of lowfat sour cream.
  2. Add in salt, pepper, lemon pepper, and red pepper and mix well. Stir in one more spoonful of lowfat sour cream.
  3. Start noodles by bringing the water to a boil and adding chicken bouillon. Drain. Add in the noodles to the creamed corn mix, then add in only half of the cheese flavoring packet from cheese mac to the creamed corn sauce.
  4. Editors Note: You can buy larger containers (16 ounce) of the cheese pwdr flavoring mix at restaurant and warehouse stores. If using this, one Tbsp. will substitute.
