- In a large saucepan, heat butter, then stir in flour. Cook 1 minute till smooth. Gradually add in cream, stirring constantly over low heat. Add in wine. Add in turkey, apricots, and water chestnuts. Cook on medium, stirring constantly. Add in peas just before serving, but heated through. Serve over toasted English muffins, toast points or possibly biscuits. Makes 16 servings, 1/2 c. each at 280 calories.
