Ingredientes

  • 167/1000 c. (1/3 stick) butter (optional)
  • 1 x or possibly 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed, peeled, chopped fine (optional)
  • 3 x (2*) c. fresh or possibly leftover mashed potatoes
  • 1 ctn (8 ounce 6 ounce lowfat sour cream (low fat is OK, but do not use NO FAT)
  • 5 slc bacon (5 to 6 slices), cooked, liquid removed and crumbled
  • 3 sm green onions, trimmed, peeled, sliced thin
  • 3/4 c. Sharp Cheddar cheese (4 ounce.), grated

Direcciones

  1. In small saucepan, heat butter over low heat. Add in garlic and stir in for about a minute. NO longer. Do not burn or possibly it will be bitter. Pour butter and garlic into mashed potatoes and combine well with potatoes.**
  2. Preheat Oven to 325 Degrees F.
  3. Spread potatoes proportionately in a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.
  4. Spread lowfat sour cream on top of potatoes. Sprinkle bacon and green onion over all. Top with cheese.
  5. Bake potatoes at 325 F for 30 min.
  6. Smaller amount is for a smaller casserole.
  7. U This step is omitted if you don't want Garlic Potatoes.
