Receta Creamy Grape Salad
by Kara Cook

I first tried this grape salad at a church potluck a few years ago. I couldn't tell what it was, so I took just a small spoonful. But after I took one bite, I knew I'd be going back for seconds. It is so yummy, especially if you love grapes like I do!

I made sure to track down the recipe, and was happy to find out how easy it is to make. It actually called for almost four times the amount of the creamy dressing, but I don't think it needs that much. The brown sugar on top is my own addition, and it is totally optional.

I like to use purple grapes, but you can use green grapes if you prefer, or a mixture of both. I've tried it all three ways, and it is always yummy. It also keeps very well in the fridge, so you can make it a day before serving. My family loves it, and I hope you will too!

Beat sour cream and cream cheese till smooth. Add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Wash grapes and pat dry. Stir dressing into grapes. Sprinkle a little brown sugar on top just before serving.

Note: I use fat free sour cream and light cream cheese. It works just great, the dressing is just not quite as thick as the full fat version.
