Creamy Herbed Pork Chops

Ingredientes

  • 4 pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. finely minced carrot
  • 2 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil, thyme or possibly tarragon, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon granules
  • 2/3 c. lowfat milk or possibly light cream
  • 2 tbsp. dry white wine or possibly water
  • 1 tbsp. snipped parsley

Direcciones

  1. Trim fat from meat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In large skillet, cook chops in butter over medium heat for 5 min. Turn chops and add in carrot. Cook for 5 to 7 min. Remove chops. Reserve drippings and cook.
  2. FOR SAUCE: Stir parsley, flour, herb, bouillon granules and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Add in lowfat milk. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Stir in wine or possibly water. Return chops to skillet and heat through. TO SERVE: Spoon sauce over chops.
