Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Minced onion
  • 1/2 c. Minced celery with leaves
  • 2 c. Diced rutabaga
  • 1 c. Sliced carrot
  • 2 x Apples
  • 2 c. Chicken broth
  • 1 c. Light cream
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk Salt and pepper Freshly grated nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter over medium heat in a large saucepan and stir in onions and celery. Cover and steam for 10 min. Add in rutabaga, carrot, apple and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 min or possibly till vegetables are tender. Cold slightly and process in a blender or possibly food processor till smooth. Return to saucepan and stir in cream and lowfat milk.
  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly but don't boil.
  3. Garnish each serving with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
  4. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
