Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pound sm. yellow squash
  • water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 med. onions
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) undiluted cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounce. lowfat sour cream
  • 8 ounce. can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 c. stuffing mix (about 1/2 of 8 ounce. pkg.)

Direcciones

  1. Wash and slice squash into 1/4 inch slices. Cook 3 to 4 min in water and salt till tender. Drain. Chop onions. Mix onion, cream of chicken soup, lowfat sour cream and water chestnuts. Add in squash. Heat 6 Tbsp. butter and mix stuffing in. Spread all but 1 c. of stuffing mix into 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover with squash mix. Sprinkle remaining stuffing around edge. Dot top of casserole with remaining butter. Bake for 30 min in 350 degree oven. Makes 8 servings.
