Ingredientes

  • 300 ml lowfat milk
  • 1/2 x vanilla pod
  • 4 x egg yolks
  • 60 gm caster sugar
  • 25 gm plain flour

Direcciones

  1. In a saucepan bring the lowfat milk to the boil with the vanilla pod.
  2. In a bowl amalgamate the egg yolks sugar and flour to make a smooth paste.
  3. Carefully add in half the lowfat milk to this paste stirring continuously Pour this mix back into the remaining warm lowfat milk and cook slowly stirring well till it has thickened.
  4. Remove the vanilla pod.
  5. Cook for 10-15 min.
  6. If there are any lumps pass through a very fine sieve.
  7. Pour into a glass bowl and leave to cold.
