%20speak%20for%20themselves%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebreakfast%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20coffee%20combo%20for%20the%20week%20was%20on%20point.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECommunity%20Coffee%E2%80%99s%20Dark%20Roast%20(part%20of%20a%20set%20of%20free%20samples%20that%20I%20have%20continued%20to%20love)%20brewed%20double%20strength%20with%20low-fat%20milk,%20ice,%20and%20a%20scoop%20of%20dulce%20de%20leche!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20day%20I%20even%20paired%20my%20brew%20with%20a%20KIND%20salted%20caramel%20Popped%20Bar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20obviously%20no%20fun%20that%20my%20husband%20regularly%20works%20nights%20and%20weekends,%20but%20it%20is%20nice%20that%20his%20schedule%20allows%20us%20to%20occasionally%20go%20on%20mid-week%20breakfast%20dates.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20enjoyed%20doughnuts%20%E2%80%93%20and%20matcha%20%E2%80%93%20and%20a%20walk%20before%20I%20had%20to%20go%20to%20work.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elunch%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20week%20I%20was%20all%20about%20the%20sandwiches%20and%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20have%20many%20of%20my%20usual%20yogurt%20bowls%20so%20I%20had%20to%20make%20this%20one%20count.%20%20Plum%20on%20plum!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChobani%E2%80%99s%20new%202%25%20Plum%20Greek%20Yogurt%20with%20chopped%20up%20pluots%20and%20KIND%20maple%20chia%20granola.%20%20The%20yogurt%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20bad,%20but%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20as%20special%20as%20I%20had%20hoped;%20a%20pretty%20plain%20base%20with%20chunks%20of%20plum%20throughout.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20got%20an%20okay%20sandwich%20in%20the%20cafeteria.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESliced%20turkey%20and%20muenster%20cheese%20with%20mustard,%20lettuce,%20tomato,%20and%20peppers%20on%20an%20onion%20roll.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20brought%20a%20fantastic%20sandwich%20from%20home.%20%20TJ%E2%80%99s%20sliced%20sourdough%20with%20Applegate%20smoked%20turkey,%20haloumi%20cheese,%20and%20olive%20oil%20mayo.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlus%20an%20apple%20and%20sliced%20Persian%20cucumbers%20on%20the%20side%20for%20crunch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20cafeteria%20came%20through%20on%20salad%20day.%20%20Romaine%20topped%20with%20black%20beans,%20black%20olives,%20peppers,%20sliced%20carrots,%20cheddar%20cheese,%20tabouli,%20and%20ranch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20pita%20chips%20from%20the%20hummus%20bar%20(where%20I%20found%20the%20tabouli)%20on%20the%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esnack%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPolar%E2%80%99s%20peach%20seltzer%20is%20amazing,%20practically%20juicy.%20%20I%E2%80%99ve%20got%20two%20of%20the%20summer%20flavors%20waiting%20in%20my%20fridge%20too%20and%20I%E2%80%99m%20pretty%20excited%20about%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPb&j.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGuava%20cheese%20empanada%20on%20the%20train.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELatte%20from%20Caf%C3%A9%20Dada.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%E2%80%99s%20be%20real,%20this%20was%20one%20of%20many%20coffee%20snacks%20this%20week%20but%20the%20pictures%20were%20getting%20repetitive%20so%20I%E2%80%99m%20only%20sharing%20the%20pretty%20one.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edinner%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20kitchen-sink%20leftovers%20salad%20whose%20components%20ended%20up%20pairing%20together%20perfectly.%20%20A%20big%20bowl%20of%20lettuce%20topped%20with%20TJ%E2%80%99s%20sesame%20soy%20ginger%20vinaigrette,%20Applegate%20chicken%20hot%20dogs,%20peanuts,%20edamame,%20and%20Persian%20cucumbers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20cinnamon%20toast%20on%20the%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeriously,%20how%20good%20is%20cinnamon%20toast??%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20meal%20was%20super%20simple%20but%20it%20was%20the%20tastiest%20of%20the%20week.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETJ%E2%80%99s%20frozen%20gnocchi%20with%20tomato%20sauce%20and%20mozzarella%20didn%E2%80%99t%20knock%20our%20socks%20off,%20but%20for%20frozen%20gnocchi%20that%20comes%20together%20in%207%20minutes%20it%20was%20certainly%20fine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20this%20spinach%20is%20one%20of%20the%20best%20damn%20things%20I%E2%80%99ve%20ever%20made.%20%20Fresh%20baby%20spinach%20(8%20cups%20worth%20that%20cooked%20down%20into%20practically%20nothing!)%20steam-saut%C3%A9ed%20with%20salt%20and%20evoo%20with%20low-fat%20sour%20cream,%20minced%20garlic,%20raisins,%20and%20toasted%20pine%20nuts%20tossed%20in%20for%20the%20last%20few%20minutes%20of%20cooking.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20seriously%20would%20not%20shut%20up%20about%20how%20yummy%20this%20was%20%E2%80%93%20I%20even%20paused%20%E2%80%9CCriminal%20Minds%E2%80%9D%20to%20rave%20about%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHave%20a%20great%20weekend.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
