Ingredientes

  • 4 quart sliced medium cucumbers
  • 6 med white onions, sliced
  • 2 x Green peppers, minced
  • 3 x cloves garlic
  • 1/3 c. coarse salt
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 3 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed

Direcciones

  1. Don't pare cucumbers; slice thin. Add in onions, peppers and whole garlic cloves. Add in salt; cover with cracked ice; mix thoroughly. Let stand 3 hrs. Drain well.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over cucumber mix. Heat just to boil.
  3. Pour into warm, sterilized jars and seal.
