Crisped Brussels Sprouts With Pine Nuts

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed (672 g) course salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • 2 x shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil (60 ml)
  • 1 Tbsp. honey (15 ml)
  • 1/4 c. pine nuts, toasted (60 ml)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, salt, pepper, shallots, extra virgin olive oil and honey. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Roast for 20 min, or possibly till the Brussels sprouts are cooked through. Sprinkle with pine nuts and serve immediately.
  3. Instead of boiling or possibly steaming Brussels sprouts - roasting is a nice alternative.
