Ingredientes

  • 6 med Catfish --cleaned and dressed
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 2 ounce Warm sauce
  • 2 c. Self-rising cornmeal Vegetable oil Watercress, optional Lemon slices, optional

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle catfish with salt and pepper; place in a shallow dish. Add in warm sauce; marinate 1 to 2 hrs in refrigerator.
  2. Place cornmeal in a plastic bag; drop in catfish, one at a time, and shake till completely coated. Fry in deep warm oil (375 F) till fish float to the top and are golden; drain well. Garnish with watercress and lemon slices, if you like.
  3. Yield: 6 servings.
