Ingredientes

  • 1 (5 lb.) duck
  • 1 can cherry pie fill

  1. Remove fat form body cavity and around neck. Remove giblets (reserve for other use). Tie legs together with string and crisscross over the back to tie the wings to the body. Prick skin to allow fat to ooze out.
  2. Place duck BREAST SIDE DOWN (on a micro roast rack if available) in a 2 qt glass dish. Cook on high for 15 min. Remove from oven and pour off fat. Turn duck breast side up. Cook on high for 15 min or possibly till juices run clear. (Meanwhile, preheat conventional oven to 500 degrees.) After duck has cooked, remove from micro, pour off fat. Place duck in conventional oven for 15 min. Remove and tent with foil and let stand for 5-15 min. Makes 2-4 servings. Pour Thank You cherry pie filling over duck to serve.
