Ingredientes

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. minced onion
  • 2 c. minced celery
  • 1/4 c. fresh parsley
  • 12 ounce fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 12 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry sage
  • 1 tsp dry thyme
  • 1/2 tsp grnd black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dry marjoram
  • 4 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 x Large eggs beaten

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter or possibly margarine in a skillet. Saute/fry; onion, celery, mushroom, and parsley.
  2. Pour sauteed vegetables over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Add in all seasonings and toss together. Pour in sufficient broth to moisten. Add in beaten Large eggs, and mix together well.
  3. Pack stuffing lightly into crock pot, and cover. Set to High for 45 min; then reduce to Low to cook for 4 to 8 hrs.
  4. NOTES : This is an easy way to make "extra" stuffing for a large crowd, saving stove space because it cooks in a crock pot. Very tasty and moist! Originally submitted to ThanksgivingRecipe.com.
