Receta Crockpot Beef Casserole With Savoury Pinwheels

- Beef Casserole:Trim fat from meat and cut flesh into cubes.
- Peel and chop onions.
- Crush, peel and chop garlic.
- Place meat, onion, garlic, stock, tomato paste, vinegar, cumin and orange rind in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hrs.
- Thirty min before you are ready to serve, place pinwheels on top.
- Cover.
- Turn heat to high. Cook for 30 min or possibly till pinwheels are cooked.
- Savoury Pinwheels:Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt into a bowl.
- Rub in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add in sufficient water to create a soft dough.
- Roll out on a lightly floured board to 5 mm thickness.
- Mix marmalade, mustard and vinegar together. Spread over dough.
- Roll up as for a sponge roll and cut into 2 cm slices.
- NOTES : Use whatever tougher meat cut suits your budget or possibly what's on special. The pinwheels do away with the need for potatoes, rice or possibly pasta.
