Receta Crockpot Carne Adovada for Tortilla and Tamale Dishes
Marinated pork is simmered in a red chile sauce and then is used in enchiladas, burritos, tamales, or over rice.

- Prepare marinade and add pork cubes to it in a bowl or plastic bag.
- Refrigerate 4-8 hours.
- Discard marinade.
- Turn on crockpot.
- Prepare red chile sauce of choice, or use 2-3 cups store-bought enchilada sauce.
- Put all ingredients in crock pot and cook until pork is tender.
- To thin sauce, add chicken stock.
- To thicken add cornmeal.
