Ingredientes

  • 4 c. Kellogg's APPLE JACKS cereal
  • 6 x Wooden skewers
  • 6 med Apples, rinsed, dry and stems removed
  • 1/2 c. Margarine or possibly butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Fat-free lowfat milk
  • 1 pkt (14 ounce.) Caramels

Direcciones

  1. Crush KELLOGG'S APPLE JACKS (to approx 2 c.) and put in shallow pan. Insert wooden skewer into each apple at the stem end. Set aside.
  2. Place margarine, lowfat milk and caramels in small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently till caramels are melted and mix is smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Dip each apple into caramel mix, turning to coat proportionately. Quickly roll in crushed cereal to coat entire apple. Place on waxed paper. Refrigeratetill caramel coating is hard.
