Ingredientes

  • 2 c. fresh cherries, liquid removed & pitted
  • 3/4 c. cherry juice (add in water, if necessary)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or possibly almond extract
  • 3 drops red food color (optional)

Direcciones

  1. If possible, pick your own local cherries, store in cool water till ready to pit and use them. Mix cherry juice, sugar, cornstarch, butter, lemon or possibly almond and food coloring in small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Add in liquid removed and pitted cherries. Pour into baking dish. Mix topping ingredients well and sprinkle over cherries. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min.
